The most important consideration is whether the wall to be removed is load-bearing — if so, structural support will be needed for the floors above. Ayars has completed major renovations at my home in 2016 & 2018. This year I had 2 occasions to call Ayars for follow-up on work they had previously performed. In both cases, Ayars responded to my email with both an email and phone call within 24 hrs. Company owner Josh came out both times and thoroughly assessed the situation. Josh repaired the problem in both cases, at no cost to me, even though the problems were not related to Ayars’ work. They not only stand behind their work, but they also respond promptly on calls, years after work is done. They consistently exceed expectations, even repairing problems not related to their work. I plan more renovations in a few years and no doubt will call on Ayars when I do.
