Our core company’s core focus is on Bathrooms, Kitchens, and Interior Renovations (including Finished Basements). Although we have the ability to handle other remodeling projects and services, we have found that sticking to our core services allows us to focus our attention and knowledge to best serve our clients.
We are a group of skilled, experienced craftsmen that are focused on building science and implementing the best practices for all products that we install. We are not in the business of rush jobs or flipping houses; our mission is to “build your dream” to a fine degree of quality you’ll appreciate for years to come.

How fast can you start?!
We receive many calls with the expectation that a project can be started right away. Life events such as graduations, or visiting relatives can create the need to start a project in the near term, but in reality, this is typically not possible.
Remodeling projects take time to plan and coordinate and there are many factors that can impact this process:
Estimates
The estimating process takes time to complete with open communication throughout this timeframe. Getting selections made for proper pricing on both the material and labor end is critical. Defining the scope of work so that is clearly documented for purposes of the contract signing as well as the production’s staff guideline.
Design Process
Working with our design coordinator and making selections can also take time depending on the type of project that you are considering. Kitchens and bathrooms, which often include tile, flooring, cabinetry, and other fixtures can be the most time-consuming.
Materials
Many materials that are special order often take several weeks for delivery. The process is unforgiving — every detail needs to be ironed out prior to ordering since many materials are non-returnable. We need to capture your vision and review every detail of the proposed product lines.
Permits
The permit application process can vary from town to town, but typically 3 weeks is common. If additional questions need to be answered for further review of the application, this can extend the timeframe.
Capacity
We are a small, highly-focused, and skilled team that prides itself on top-level execution for each project, and as such we will run only one or two jobs simultaneously depending on the size and scope.

Workmanship & Labor
The quality of the workmanship and the complete understanding of the products being used are probably the two most overlooked details in our line of work. The science behind the proper installation of products is critical. The effort involved in following all guidelines takes time and is crucial to the success and warranty of your installation, no matter how simple it may seem. Labor is often overlooked when considering a remodeling company as reputable as Ayars.
Overhead
Any company that is properly licensed and insured has certain overhead. We maintain an office with a basic showroom and have been in the same community for over 50 years! Do you prefer to work with a company that has an office and presence in the community or would you be willing to take the risk with a lesser known company with no support system? We are a small family-run business with a team of skilled individuals that are capable of filling in the roles of others in our organization. This provides peace of mind that your project is well managed.
Materials
The quality of the materials is another key factor in the cost of your project. It takes no less time to install subpar or cheap cabinets or tile than it does quality product. Taking this into consideration and allowing us to coach you through the material selection process and the critical nature of ‘quality’ products is key.
Are you within our service area?
Our goal is to provide exceptional service to all of our clients, and staying close to our home office helps us ensure that takes place. We are familiar with our surrounding communities and municipalities; thus a greater understanding of the inspection schedules and technical requirements of the local inspection officials. Our service providers, vendors, and subcontractors also have excellent reputations and better service availability in our immediate area which helps in all aspects of our remodeling projects.
